JackpotRiders started with six friends around a kitchen table in Sydney. Now we're Australia's favourite free social gaming community.
JackpotRiders was founded in 2019 by a group of university mates who loved playing cards on Friday nights but wanted a way to keep the fun going online — without the stakes, without the pressure, and with the whole crew in one virtual room.
What started as a pet project on evenings and weekends grew into a fully-fledged social gaming platform. By 2021 we had 10,000 players. Today, over 160,000 Australians call JackpotRiders home for their weekly game nights.
Our headquarters is in Sydney's CBD, our team is spread from Fremantle to Cairns, and our mission has never changed: make great social games that bring people together — completely free, completely safe.
These aren't just words on a wall — they guide every feature we build, every policy we set, and every interaction with our community.
Every decision starts with a simple question — does this make the game more enjoyable? If not, we don't build it.
We listen to players, feature community feedback in monthly updates, and keep the platform shaped by the people who use it.
Responsible gaming isn't an afterthought — it's baked into every game. Session timers, awareness prompts, and clear messaging are standard.
We will never charge players to play. Our model is built on community, not purchases. That's a promise we intend to keep forever.
Our team of 22 designers, developers, community managers, and game designers is headquartered at 60 Margaret Street in Sydney's CBD. We're a diverse group united by a love of great games and a genuine care for player experience.
We're always listening. Every piece of player feedback goes directly to the product team, and we run monthly community surveys to ensure JackpotRiders keeps evolving in the right direction.
Interested in working with us or partnering with the platform? We'd love to hear from you.
